Responsibilities

  • Prepare menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment following health protocols.
  • Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper food handling practices.
  • Engage with residents to understand their dining preferences and needs.
  • Support the overall dining experience by assisting with meal service as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Current Food Handler’s Card as required by the Department of Health.
  • Experience in food preparation, kitchen sanitation, and safety procedures preferred.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in high-temperature environments, including cooking surfaces and freezers.
