Description:

  • The weekly routine consists of treating a set number of patients from Monday to Friday at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH, with the expectation of covering 20 weekend shifts per year. There is a possibility to swap weekdays for weekends if necessary.
  • Engage in close teamwork with a team consisting of Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses, Psychiatrists, and Social Workers
  • OhioHealth provides access to ECT/TMS treatments
  • OhioHealth offers teaching opportunities to Psychiatry residents
  • Unique areas of focus embraced, such as Women's Reproductive Health, Oncology, Geriatrics, and more
  • OhioHealth's Neurology service line fosters collaboration throughout the organization
  • Competitive pay rates and additional rewards for outstanding work
  • Students may receive a repayment benefit of as much as $80,000 for their loans in addition to $8,000 to aid in relocation costs

Requirements:

  • A psychiatrist holding the certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), either as Board Certified or Board Eligible
