Responsibilities

  • Prepare menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety practices.
  • Ensure meals are presented attractively and served in a timely manner.
  • Understand residents' dietary preferences and requirements.
  • Keep kitchen and food preparation areas clean and organized.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Current Food Handlers Card as required by local health department.
  • Prior experience in a food service environment is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in a standing position for extended periods.
