Job Description:

Exhibits and furnishes a specialized and pleasurable customer interaction. Records purchases using allocated cash register, delivers clients amiable, just, welcoming, and effective payment service.

Roles and Duties:

• Initiates interactions with customers and patients, offering aid and product guidance while resolving any concerns or inquiries for a favorable customer interaction.
• Sets a standard by exemplifying and promoting exceptional customer service strategies among staff members to ensure a unique and enjoyable customer journey, incorporating interpersonal skills like welcoming customers, engaging eye contact, demonstrating politeness, and adhering to Walgreens service values such as being proactive in offering assistance and addressing customer needs.
• - Delivers customer service that is kind, affable, rapid, and proficient.
• Advising customers on recommended items for sale and suggesting additional products for consideration.
• Utilizes the allotted cash register to document customer buys, manages cash transactions, and provides change when requested. Deals with voided transactions, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as necessary.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderly display of counters and shelves, monitors stock levels, and updates documentation. Receives and labels items following the guidance of the store manager or instructions from the shift leader.
• Executes strategies for preserving company resources to mitigate potential revenue decreases.
• Ensures that state and local ordinances concerning regulated goods like alcohol and tobacco are followed accordingly.
• Handles the creation and upkeep of a variety of displays, including those for promotions, seasons, special structures, and items for sale. Executes resets and modifications as required.
• Supports with rotating stock and following the first in, first out principle for perishable goods to maintain freshness, as well as replenishing depleted items.
• Shows proficiency in using store systems and equipment.
• Delivers customer support at the photo counter, which encompasses providing digital passport picture services, creating posters, operating a creative machine, and promoting photo products.
• Takes on the role of handling web-based pickup tasks, monitoring orders processed in Picture Care Plus, completing orders by gathering items, and distributing orders to customers when they come to the store.
• Supports with both exterior and interior maintenance to ensure the store looks clean and orderly.
• Abides by all corporate regulations and protocols; cultivates harmonious relationships with team members.
• Executes unique tasks and other assignments as designated.

Training:

• Partakes in training programs and finishes necessary PPLs as directed by the Manager or specified by the corporate headquarters.

Qualifications:

• Mastery of the English language, involving skills in reading, writing, and speaking, is mandatory
• Willingness to accommodate a variable schedule, including weekends and evenings, is essential for this position
• Seeking candidates with at least half a year of retail background.
• Having prior experience working at Walgreens is advantageous for applicants.
• Have a preference for being skillful in English comprehension, written communication, and verbal expression, with the exception of Puerto Rico
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, is required for this role.
