Job Description Summary:
$15,000 SIGN-ON BONUS
Individuals from outside the company and newly licensed employees from within may be entitled to receive a $15,000 recruitment bonus when they commit to working for at least one year. A full-time position for a Cardiac Sonographer on the day shift is available at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Cardiac Sonographers are required to be on call for the 24/7 operations of the Cardiac Imaging Lab.
In charge of conducting diagnostic evaluations such as echocardiograms, vascular scans, and administrative tasks following each procedure, the Cardiac Sonographer showcases a kind and respectful attitude in interactions with patients, families, coworkers, physicians, and hospital visitors.
INFORMATION SECURITY
Preserves the privacy of login passwords and the security of various authentication mechanisms such as key fobs and proximity devices.
Guarantees the privacy and safety of the entrusted data.
Employes business assets and information resources solely for approved management objectives.
Complies with all rules and regulations concerning information confidentiality and security measures.
Reports information security incidents promptly to the OhioHealth Information Security Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Performs ultrasound imaging.
Prepares required reports.
Maintains files.
Handles equipment upkeep. Furnishes necessary figures.
Uses telephone communication to book appointments and give out details.
Works with healthcare providers to review echocardiogram outcomes and ensures quality assurance procedures are in place.

Alternatively, candidates should be eligible for registry as RDCS or RCS and must obtain registration within twelve months of being hired. BLS Certification is mandatory.
