Job Description Summary:

$15,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Applicants from outside the organization as well as newly licensed internal staff members have the opportunity to receive a sign-on bonus of $15,000, provided they commit to a minimum duration of one year. Former employees returning to the company after a break of more than 90 days may also fulfill the requirements for this incentive.

Grant Medical Center is in need of a full-time CT Technologist for the night shift to join their busy CT department. The hiring manager is willing to consider licensed radiology technologists who are eager to expand their skills and specialize in CT. The position does not have a mandatory on-call component.


Operating computed tomography scanners, the CT Technologist executes various procedures as directed by radiologists while ensuring patients understand the processes, administering contrast media upon request, and maintaining an orderly patient scheduling system. All activities are conducted following approved protocols in place.


INFORMATION SECURITY

Safeguards the confidentiality of log-on passwords and the security of alternate authentication mechanisms such as key fobs and proximity devices.


Safeguards the privacy and security of data under their supervision.

The proper use of company resources involves adhering to approved purposes as set by the management team.

Complies with all privacy and security measures, rules, and directives in place.

Promptly informs the OhioHealth Information Security Officer of any occurrences related to information security incidents.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Gathers patient's clinical history prior to the procedure.

Examining lab values and checking for allergic reactions helps in pinpointing any limitations for administering contrast agents.

Provides oral and intravenous contrast media for medical procedures

Performs scans using CT equipment for different medical tests.

Aligns workload distribution with various sections and departments within the clinical setting.

Supervises the standards of patient care services.

The work environment might pose occasional risks of radiation exposure, with a typically moderate noise level.

Minimum Qualifications:

The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, commonly known as ARRT, is responsible for certifying radiologic technologists in the United States. The ARRT-DOH license is specifically issued by the Ohio Department of Health for radiologic technologists who meet the ARRT certification standards. Basic Life Support, or BLS, training is offered by the American Heart Association to equip individuals with essential skills to respond to cardiac emergencies. The American Heart Association is a reputable organization that provides training and resources related to heart health and emergency care

Completer of an approved radiography program in Ohio and holder of an ODH Radiologic License
